Rendang is often described as a rich dish of meat — most commonly beef (rendang daging) — but we at Miss Intan use tempeh or australian beef that has been slow cooked and braised in coconut milk seasoned with herb and spices, until it evaporates, caramelized and infused with rich flavours. Here we serve with Basmathi or brown rice , signature chia seed sambal, braised long beans and egg.
